I'm a simple girl having my own simple perspective of life. Life is so complicated sometimes but it's up to us on how to deal with it. Taking one step at a time.
I enjoy being at home a lot. A self confessed homebody, that's me. I love to cook! And dancing around with my MP3 player on.
I am grateful for my family. We may not be the perfect model of a family, but having each other made so much difference in our lives.
The friendships that I shared with friends that I've made will not be easily forgotten. Once I get to know you and we share a common interest with one another, I'm sorry to say that you be stuck with me for life.
I recently found someone to call my own <3
I enjoy watching feel good movies, chick flicks, romantic comedies and a few of those science fiction, magic fantasy movies. Music that I like can range from pop to alternative rock and emo :P
Good food are my favourite food. Close friends would know what's my all time favourite drink to order. Teh ais.
I tend to look very serious at times. And stressed. Realize that sometimes, I have to take life a little less seriously and always remember to stop and smell the roses.
I love to laugh. Yes, I do. Gimme a darn good joke and watch me turn RED.
Sorry beb. Thought I'd have the heart and the time for another blog entry before this, but..I..just...couldn't...get...myself...to do...it :P
The semester break has been another great one, despite one majormajor setback. I shall not blog about it. We shall start the year off with happy happy things. Hehe.
First of, is Wonder Girls. This cute-sy all girl group from Korea has got me hooked with their infectious and addictive songs. I don't care that they are literally a manufactured band, where their songs and outlook are specifically designed for the market. I love their songs! Especially 'Nobody' and 'So Hot'. Growing fond with 'Tell Me'. These songs are all dance material. Just the type I like. Hehe. Haven't got to know them by name though. They all kinda look alike. The youngest is born 1992 and the oldest is 1988. But they look so mature. So young, already reach super stardom. Jealous... XP

A few weeks ago, I was given the honour to be the bridesmaid for cousin Vicky's wedding. Was super excited eh XD I was looking forward to wearing the dresses and be made up. Of course, being a bridesmaid, I am to assist the bride with anything. I don't really mind that part. Hehe. It was one fun and tiring day. The wedding as well as the reception in the evening went well. It was for the first time, I traded my glasses in exchange for contact lenses. It felt uncomfortable at first, but I kinda got used to it in the end.
Bring on the pictures :)
With the newlyweds, Hendry and Vicky :)

Not too long into the holidays, unimates Yuan Wen, Evelyn and Xiao Min came to visit Kuching, all the way from the Peninsular. Me and Vanessa brought them to Jong's Crocodile Farm and Carpenter Street to shop for souvenirs. Even brought them across the river, just cause wanna try out riding on the boat. Hehe. Initially planned to bring them to the Cat's Museum but it was closed (And I found out from Jason later that I brought them to the wrong Cat Museum. Oh well.) We had fun anyways and the day was well paid off with them getting the opportunity to try out Kolo Mee,Kueh Chap and Sarawak Laksa all in one go. Oh, and not forgetting Ikan Bakar too.
Earlier during the semester break, me and my family went for our long awaited holiday in KL. Well, it was more to helping my bro to bring his stuff back from campus (he ended his studies in INTEC and waiting to be shipped flown to NZ in February). But there was the shopping part as well (ahem, Malaysian Saving Sale!) and the sight-seeing. Let's just say, it's nice to go out as a family again, with not one missing :)
In front of Mark's college hostel. To the extreme left, is Mark's friend from Sabah. His name is also Mark. Hehe.
We went sight-seeing at KL Bird Park. Honestly, I didn't know there was such places in the middle of the city. Its located somewhere near Taman Tasik Perdana. The main reason why we went there was I guess cause Dad wanted to practice his photo-taking skills there. Birds are one of his many favourite subject to shoot. Habis all the birds in the backyard he target last time.
Dad all set to go!
Orite, honestly I thought I was going to get bored after walking around that place. But suprisingly, I actually did had fun. Interacting with the birds, watching them and taking lots of photos. One bird can even talk back to you and say 'Apa khabar' or 'Hello'. How cool is that? Hehe. The bird show was interesting, though I do not recommend you to watch it twice (it's all very routined, bet its the same thing all over again).Owh, and one more thing. Do not feed birds when they're really hungry. I've got minor scratches from feeding them. But it was still fun XD
There's Mum. And Dad, monkey-ing around. Hehe.
That bird, could do calculation. Seriously.
If they're hungry, they'll crowd around you. Like that o.0 Feeding the birds with milk.
We stayed around Bukit Bintang area, where eateries, shopping mall and Monorail are located in walking distance. At night, we saw this man at the sidewalk.
He sits still on his chair while staring at nothing at all. Probably sleeping, or amusing himself with the onlookers watching him. The bin in front of him collects money from the generous people watching him.
If silver was not enough, there was a gold man standing around at the other side of the road.
This one moves around and poses for you. You can even come up to him and take a photo with him too. What a way to earn, huh?
So, that's it for this entry. Will update again hopefully before I leave for UTP.
Finally got myself to write this entry. Tis long overdue. I know. Deeply apologize for not updating. I guess you guys out there just watch out for my blog when the holiday rolls in. Heheh.
So yeah, another semester gone. A whole lotta experience I've gone through. This sem has been another interesting one. Gone through a few firsts, had a great time with friends, had my down and low moments, worked on my studies and most importantly, survived through it all.
Beginning of the sem was a really a busy period (refer to last few entries). Then, it slowed down a bit before I went full speed ahead with CSS stuff. But it was fun, not to mention tiring. Heh.
My Microprocessor project
This was my project that I last worked on with my lab partner. It's suppose to be a working digital clock, complete with a stopwatch feature. We had to come up with codes on the digital clock and the stopwatch and combine both codes together. It ain't easy (only a few groups managed to do it) but it was fun knowing that we could actually create a digital clock and stopwatch from scratch :) We did come up with the codes though ( through piles of past codes, tweaked it to suit our prototype of course). The project don't look too scary now after doing it :) I got scared looking at past projects last time. Heheh.
I went to go to Pangkor Island this sem. Together with the big and growing family of CSS. Actually, I was organizing it together with the excos. Thankfully, didn't stress banyak sangat (knowing me la kan) and tried to chill with everyone. And at least have fun too for goodness sake. Haha.
Our extended CSS family from USM SA also joined us in this trip of ours. Nice of them to come all the way from Penang to be with us. We had fun getting to know all of them :)
Some of us went for sight-seeing around the Island. Went to a few of the must visit places around the island. We hired a van for RM80 for a tour around, with 4 or 5 destinations. Having a full van going around certainly made the fare reasonable.
MiniGreat Wall of China. Ironic eh.
Then, there were the others who went snorkeling. Yes, yes. I could've join them for the more fun side of the trip. Tapi, I didn't want to get wet and dark for that time being. Hehe. They went in the afternoon wor. But, I have to admit. It looks fun :)
I still wonder how they can touch that thing. Huhu. Looks...pointy :P
Snorkel snorkel ~
Then, we also had some fun games in the beach. Went digging the sand and pop people's balloon. Heheh.
And not forgetting our praise and worship session in the house and around the campfire.
But the part of the trip that I truly most enjoy is our makan session in KFC. Good food and good company. What more can I ask for :)
After the trip, CSSUTP also made their singing and dancing debut in the opening ceremony of St. Bernadette's building at OLOL, Silibin (the parish church that we go to). We sang Above All, My All in All and Daki-Daki. It was fun. Hehe. Even our seniors in their final years came to join us :)
Yes, I was just the conductor. Not the performer :P
Our beautiful church at night.
A while after that, we had our farewell outing at one of the waterfalls near Gopeng. This was held to bid farewell to our graduating seniors and to the rest of the members for this semester. We're one big happy family of our own. And I'm grateful for that :)
Owh, I went hiking on Kledang Hill too. It was an exhilarating experience. Was really pumped up to reach the peak. But too bad I didn't. The guide told me and my friend that since it was our first time there, we better not be to ambitious. Ah well, another day, another time to conquer.
So, that's the update for now. I haven't even started with what I've been doing since I'm back home for the hols. Hehe. That's another entry for another day.
I deeply apologize for not updating for such a bloody long time. Huhu. I admit I'm more of a holiday blogger. Only blog when semester break rolls in. Sorry again. But I'm not writing an update post this time. Gotta pay me tag debt. Hehe.

Some of her famous quotes..
That was her reply when Chuck (a self-confessed playboy) admitted that he was starting to fall in love with her in one of the past episode. He related his feelings to the 'butterflies in his stomach'. The look on Chuck's face..priceless. Heheh.
Heh. Sorry for the long hiatus. Finally I can find the time to update now. So, where do I begin? :P
Ah, last month just ended my 'singing career' with the Choir group. Yeap, this time its definitely the end of my involvement with the happy-go-lucky team. Fortunately, for this semester, we were not so packed in our schedule. Meaning this semester, we only prepared for 3 events, namely SymphonyFest, ConvoFair Opening and the Convocation itself. Last year was Hell. We had to perform for all of the above, PLUS the ConvoDinner and take part in the inter-campus Choir Competition. Tired eh.
The management is still the same. As I have said in my earlier post before, it still needs improvement. But, I've grown less annoyed and learned to just go with the flow. Enjoy what it is to enjoy with them. They are the most happy-go-lucky bunch of people I know. It's been nice getting to know them and to bond with them in the past 2 months.
Owh, I had one solo part and one duet part in the songs that we performed this year. My solo was in the beginning of Abba's "Thank You For The Music" and girlfren Jaja also have her solo part in the same song. Then, the duet was with Sofia in "Phantom of the Opera" song, at the first verse. Truly didn't expect all the solo and duet parts but am honored all the same. It's all about experience right ;)
Other than Choir, I'm also currently busy with ICC activities. ICC stands for International Culture Club, one of the most recognised club in campus. Busy bukan apa. I'm holding one of the post in the committee. Have to settle this, discuss that, calculate here, brainstorm there. Was the MOST busiest during ConvoWeek. Other than Choir performances, there's also ICC booth at ConvoSquare. Sometimes, would help them out at the booth, selling delicious food (got ice blended, nachos, chocolate fondue, fruit custard and jellies) Though I admit, I couldn't help them much due to another commitment, but I still feel responsible for it. Feel guilty ba, if I don't do anything. Oh, well. That's me.
Talking about feeling guilty, I almost left the department that I was under in SymphonyFest. I was assigned to Ticketing Department (after much hype from Euphonious '08, until now XD), in the hopes that I could help them in ticketing strategy I guess. But, I honestly can say. I wasn't able to give my full commitment to them, because I was also busy with Choir at that time. We had to perform, remember? So, practice sessions were important. In the end, I told Yana (head of dept) that I wanted to tarik diri because all of the reasons. Personally, I would've been annoyed with myself if I were the head. But all she said to me was, "Chill Tania, Don't worry. You don't have to pull out. You did your part already." I love her. Haha.
Back to Convo matters, Audrey came to bunk in my room for that weekend. Feels kinda weird to have a change of roommate for the weekend. Haha. But she was nice, don't worry. My roommate had gone out to KL that weekend (well, she does every weekend), so Audrey could comfortably settle down and sleep on roommate's bed. Other than that, I also got the opportunity to collect a senior's graduation robe. Had to go through the whole long line and everything. Thank goodness I could get S size robe for her petite size. A friend warned me not to try her robe. He said that its a curse that if I did wear it, I would somehow not graduate. Huhu. Any truth in this? Scared me oo. Thought wanted to try when I get back to my room, just to know how it fits (excuse us girls). But after hearing that, it was left on my bed. I want to grad ba.
It's puasa season now. I'm surviving with bread, butter, peanut butter, tea and salad. Hehe, but that's only brunch. I eat proper dinner in the evening. Don't worry, Tania knows how to eat ;P I have to say, I make a mean delicious salad. Ingredients are simple, but fills me up like wonders. Yum~
Haven't been cooking properly yet. Am still looking for wooden ladle to use to cook. The pot is the non-stick type you see. So, have to use proper utensils. Hm, my macaroni and cheese would have to wait sometime then :(
Wireless signal in my room has been fantastic from the beginning of the semester. Its signal strenth went frm either ' Very Good' to 'Excellent'. Love it! Now, can chat with people in MSN ady. Yippee~
Oritez, till next update.
XOXO~Tania :D
Currently listening to: Kill (Bury Me) By 30 Seconds to Mars
"Tack-It"s', scissors, selotape, manila card and a ruler.
And, most importantly...(the main element of the Fabulous Fan)
The Fabulous Peacock feather, It is genuine feathers by the way (poor bird).
First, cut the LONG feather into your desired length of the fan. Remove the feathers at the bottom for the next step.
Then, prepare a triangle shaped card using the manila card. Fold the triangle shape into half. So u should have a smaller triangles on both side of the card. Stick the base of the feathers, using "Tack-It"s', on one side of the triangle. Close the card and and apply selotape to seal it.
You should have something like this;
One Fabulous Fan.
Now, you are ready for a 'Phantom of the Opera'-ish appearance XD
The first thing I saw when I woke up this morning was a dead bird. Wait, it was still warm that time, so it was dying. Yes, a dying bird on my bed. Right next to me, lying right across my pillow.
What a sight to wake up in the morning ho?
At first, I woke up after hearing noises coming from the fan. Biasalah, that fan will be spinning at its maximum speed, eventhough it was super cold in the morning. I thought, "Die. Something is wrong with the fan. Want to crash ka?"
Then I glance over from the fan to my roomates window, it was a furry little thing perched on top of the window. Couldn't tell whether it was a bat or a bird. Normally, I would've freaked out (a bit) and tried to get rid of it before i can peacefully sleep again. But no, back to slumber I went and covered myself with me blanket. Don't want any furry little thing stuck on me pula. 10 minutes later, i heard another noise before feeling a brush on my shoulder. "I thought "Crap, something's on my bed".
Then, lo and behold, it was a bird. Tried to poke it to see whether it was moving, or still alive. It didn't budge though, so I picked it up with a cloth and peered at it. I saw a tear of flesh on its thigh, guess that where the fan struck it. No blood, but the bird was lying on my hands, lifeless. Kesian jugak tengok.
So out of my room I went, thinking what am I suppose to do with the poor bird. Still sleepy again that time. Downstairs I went, and walked through the block's entrance corridor. I laid it's body under a tulip plant after stroking it gently to say bye-bye (kesian ba).
After washing my hands, back to bed I went.. to sleep again =P
May you rest in Peace, dear little birdie. So sorry about my fan =(
And then, there's one more paper. The times seemed to pass so fast these past few days. Sometimes, I had to remind myself what day it was and what paper was coming up. And to remember to wake early for the paper tomorrow. Lol.
In a way it's good. I'm getting closer and closer to Sunday, can't wait to get back home and sleep in my bed again. To laze around in my house and be the couch potato that I am like no body's business. Yes, I'm a homebody when I'm in Kuching. I can't help it. Ooh! Looking forward to drive my bro to and fro from school and tuition too. Damn, I miss my Kelisa.
Owh, I miss my brother too
He's grown a lot now. Not just physically but I think in terms of personality as well. He's not the one to be only interested in games now but he also has photography as his passion. I guess having Dad spoil him with all the gadgets has in a way helped to spur his interest in phototaking. Heck, he's even in photography club now taking class photos for the school magazine. Not bad for my lil' bro. Hehe.
Back to me, I've got Microelectronics coming up tomorrow and a whole lot of packing to do after that. Hope I'd still be able to catch some sleep.
Til then, wish me luck for my last paper this semester
I must brush my teeth, especially in the mornings! In between breakfast and dinner, erm..no need la..heheh.
